Denise Heil is a Colorado registered Certified Massage Therapist and has been a therapist for over 20 years. Her practice is out of Forever Fit Physical Therapy working with physical therapist Erin Rosso. Denise also administers Vo2 and Resting Metabolic Rate Testing and is an independent representative of Ideal Health, a division of The Trump Network.
She graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1986 going on to work with the well-renowned Dr. Kenneth Copper, founder of the Aerobics Institute and the Institute for Aerobics Research, in Dallas, TX. Her background also includes ski instructing in the late 80s, owning an aerobics studio in Alaska, teaching a variety of exercise classes and starting a wellness program for several companies.
She furthered her studies at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 1991 and then owned her own massage practice in Cordova, Alaska. She then moved with her husband to Homer, Alaska, where they started their family of three children.
Eighteen months after her second child was born, she began working as a program director, group exercise coordinator and massage therapy coordinator at a newly built heath club in Homer. She worked there extensively, overseeing all the programs as well as training instructors.
In 2002, Denise began distributing customized nutritional products with Ideal Health a division of The Trump Network to round out her personal training practice and Massage Therapy practice.
In 2004, she and her family have relocated to sunny Steamboat Springs, CO from where she runs Custom Fit Health. Denise's passion is helping people better their health. Ali is a Certified Massage Therapist who graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Upon graduation Ali pursued her dream of living in a small mountain town. In December Ali and her dog Doom excitedly moved to Steamboat. This past month she moved into a condo she purchased with the help of the wonderful and lovely Michelle Diehl. She believes that the process of getting massage can be part of a bigger process of self-exploration and wellness. She specializes in TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint) massage, as well as practices deep tissue, sports, Swedish, integrative, and lymph drainage. She also enjoys implementing aromatherapy into her massage and currently is studying to become a Certified Herbal Therapist.
